Position Summary:
The Senior Account Executive plays a critical role in driving IQ Fiber’s growth across the mid-market and enterprise segments. Reporting to the VP of Commercial Services, this role is at the forefront of expanding our commercial fiber optic footprint by acquiring new customers, growing monthly recurring revenue (MRR), and building trusted, executive-level relationships.
This position is ideal for a consultative sales professional who thrives in complex sales environments and can confidently articulate IQ Fiber’s differentiated value in the fiber-optic marketplace. You will work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored connectivity solutions that help businesses scale, innovate, and succeed in the digital age.

What You'll Do:
- Drive topline revenue growth by acquiring new mid-market and enterprise customers.
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and performance metrics.
- Prospect and generate new business through cold outreach, networking, industry events, and conferences.
- Focus sales efforts on businesses within or near IQ Fiber’s existing fiber network to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior-level decision-makers, including C-suite executives.
- Build and manage a robust, well-qualified sales pipeline using CRM tools to track activity, forecasts, and opportunities.
- Deliver compelling presentations that clearly communicate the business and technical value of IQ Fiber’s solutions.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and market dynamics to identify strategic opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (engineering, operations, customer success, and leadership) to ensure seamless deal execution and customer onboarding.
- Monitor deal progress from opportunity through close, proactively resolving issues to ensure timely execution.
- Provide regular reporting on sales activities, pipeline health, and revenue forecasts.
- Represent IQ Fiber professionally at trade shows, community events, and industry functions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall company objectives.

What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum of 5+ years of outside B2B sales experience in mid-market or enterprise environments, preferably within broadband or telecommunications.
- Proven history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, long-cycle sales and high-value opportunities.
- Strong understanding of Fiber-to-the-Premises (FTTP) solutions, including internet, data transport, and dark fiber.
- Ability to design and position technical solutions while clearly articulating business value.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to sell effectively at all organizational levels, including executive leadership.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business technology tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel and work evenings or weekends as required for meetings, events, and business development activities.
- High attention to detail with the ability to perform accurately under deadlines.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, positive, and productive work environment.
- Must successfully pass criminal background, driving record (DVR), and drug screenings.
