Position Summary:
IQ Fiber is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Internal Communications Manager to join our growing team. This dynamic role will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive internal communication strategies that keep our team members informed, engaged, and connected.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary manager of our company intranet, creating engaging content and ensuring information is easily accessible to all team members. Additionally, this position will spearhead our employer branding initiatives across digital platforms and review sites, showcasing IQ Fiber's fun, engaging, and authentic work culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute internal communication strategies that inform, engage, and align team members across all levels of the organization
- Foster cross-departmental collaboration through effective communication channels and consistent messaging that supports company goals
- Identify key stakeholders and implement targeted engagement approaches to maximize communication effectiveness
- Create and distribute various internal communications, including go-to-market announcements, HR policies and initiatives, emergency protocols, system improvements, and company performance updates
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert and administrator for our company intranet, train internal team members on platform use, and maintain strong relationships with our platform provider
- Plan platform content development and engagement initiatives while tracking and reporting analytics to measure effectiveness
- Maintain a comprehensive Internal Communications Calendar to ensure timely, coordinated messaging
- Work with department leaders to develop and deploy departmental intranet content that aligns with organizational priorities and resonates with target audiences
- Collaborate with external agencies to ensure alignment between internal and external communications, participating in road mapping sessions and/or workshops to maintain consistent messaging across all audiences
- Assist with company-wide events planning, including communication strategies, scheduling, and coordination to ensure successful execution
- Design and execute compelling employer branding strategies across digital platforms to effectively communicate our company culture and values to potential candidates
- Monitor review sites like Glassdoor, respond to employee feedback, and implement data-driven strategies to showcase company ratings based on authentic employee experiences
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in internal communications or a related role
- Demonstrated success managing corporate intranets and digital communication platforms
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Experience with data analytics and ability to generate insights from communication metrics
- Experience with employer review platforms and reputation management preferred
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
