Position Summary:
IQ Fiber is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to provide financial analysis, reporting, and decision support. This role involves conducting financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis to support key business decisions. The Financial Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide insights into financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conducts financial analysis and modeling, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Prepares and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key trends and financial performance metrics.
  • Collaborates with department leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiencies.
  • Assists in the preparation of budgets and financial plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Prepares allocation journals based on identified metrics.
  • Supports the month-end and year-end close processes, preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts as needed.
  • Utilizes financial systems and reporting tools to extract and analyze data, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial information.
  • Participates in special projects and financial initiatives, providing analytical support and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Provides ad hoc financial reports and analysis to support decision-making processes for the department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Candidate must already reside within the city/ vicinity of Jacksonville, FL.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • At least four years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
  • Experience with financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines independently.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
